When I first started designing websites in 1997, business was bad, real bad.  Because of the newness of the concept, trying to get someone to buy a website was next to impossible.  There was no such thing as a self-made internet millionaire, the Amazon.com website looked like a 12 year old kid made it, and Ebay was basically non-existent.  I never heard of it. 

 

Now there are thousands of internet multi-millionaires, and over a dozen internet billionaires!  Millions of people are making a living entirely from the internet. Amazon.com is now a state of the art website, selling like $12 million an hour during the Christmas season, and now I think everyone in the world has heard of Ebay.

 

10 years from now the internet and online sales will be even bigger.  There will be a hundred billionaires, a hundred thousand millionaires, etc.  My point is the internet isn't a fad.  It isn't going anywhere but up.  It's a convenience and will continue to grow as more and more people go online and get faster internet access.  Word of mouth alone is making it grow by leaps and bounds.  And the more it grows the more opportunities there are to make money with it.  It’s not just selling products either.  The more sites that open, the more services they need.    

 

You have as good a chance as any to become one of the next future internet millionaires.  Why not?  But it will never happen if you don't get into the game.
